DESCRIPTION:The digital trade landscape is rapidly evolving\, driven by the need for efficiency\, economic benefits\, and global collaboration. \nThe event aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the legal progress in digital trade\, highlighting the benefits derived from the adoption and implementation of the UNCITRAL Model Laws. \nBy examining the recent advancements made in the adoption MLETR and MLIT\, along with related legislations\, the event will explore how countries have utilised this framework to enhance the legal environment for digital trade and the opportunities in the future. \nBoth laws\, developed by the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL)\, aim to facilitate international trade by providing clear and uniform rules for electronic transactions\, thereby reducing legal barriers and promoting the growth of e-commerce on a global scale. \nIn the second part of the event\, we will host a panel discussion dedicated to discussing real-world implementation and experiences\, providing a platform for experts\, and practitioners to share insights to further advance digital trade.
