The inaugural Tequila & Mezcal Week, which starts on Friday, marks a pioneering effort by the Singapore Mexico Chamber of Commerce to bring together culture, local businesses, and of course tequila.
The event has rallied together restaurants, bars, brands, and distributors to commemorate the finest agave spirits from Mexico, spotlighting the cultural richness and adaptability of tequila and mezcal.
Tequila & Mezcal Week: where and when
Tequila & Mezcal Week runs for eight days, from Friday until next week Saturday, and is being led by Singapore Mexico Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Dorys Fierro. It will take place across Singapore between 35 venues.
Campari Group, Espolon, Ancho Reyes, Montelobos, Machetazo Mezcal, Mezcal Zunte, The Lost Explorer Mezcal Company, Codigo 1530 Tequila , Tequila Stop, PT Pantja Artha Niaga and Senor de los Cielos Tequila will showcase the best agave spirits from the heart of Mexico.
One tequila, two tequila, three tequila…
Enthusiasts can anticipate an enticing assortment of signature mezcal and tequila cocktails meticulously crafted to evoke the sun-soaked agave fields of Mexico.
Each venue offers at least two exclusive cocktails, affording attendees the opportunity to savor tastings and hop from venue to venue. Tequila & Mezcal Week will also offer over 30 activities, which will include masterclasses, as well as bespoke menus that pay homage to the mastery behind tequila and mezcal.
