On the occasion of ASEAN Day, the Embassy of Ukraine in Singapore was honored to present a special video greeting from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine His Excellency Dmytro Kuleba, special representative and ambassador-at-large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

ASEAN Day, celebrated annually on August 8, marks the founding of ASEAN in 1967. The day commemorates the signing of the ASEAN Declaration in Bangkok, Thailand, by five founding nations: Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand.
Since its inception, ASEAN has grown to include 10 member states, with Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia joining later.
The day serves not only as a reminder of the organization’s establishment but also highlights the unity and shared goals among the member countries in promoting economic growth, social progress, cultural development, and regional stability.
