Diplomatic Network (Asia) continued its quest to bring together high value individuals with the DNA July breakfast, held on Wednesday at the Breakfast Room of the Intercontinental Singapore.

The exclusive get together was attended by several heads of foreign missions accredited in Singapore. Our other distinguished guests included members of the local business community.

Members of the diplomatic corps who attended included the Chilean ambassador, His Excellency Ignacio Concha; the high commissioner of Malaysia, HE Dato Azfar Bin Mohamad Mustafar; the ambassador of the Philippines, HE Medardo Antonio Macarang; and the Spanish ambassador, HE Mercedes Alonso.

The director of Strategic Communications of Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sheryl Shum, also graced the event with her presence.

From the business community, the attendees included the head of Swiss Business Hub (ASEAN), Renee Koh. Swiss Business Hub is responsible for implementing Swiss export strategies in the ASEAN region as part of Switzerland’s diplomatic mission in Singapore.

The breakfast’s conversation topics included gastronomic highlights of the cultures present, as well as experiences of the attendees at the countries represented.

The distinguished guests were also introduced to DNA’s networking concept. Diplomats were invited to divulge any news from their countries and missions. Meanwhile, the business leaders were invited to join DNA’s networking platform, as a tool to bridge the gap between their products & services and members of the diplomatic community.

We, at DNA, look forward to facilitating further networking opportunities over the coming months and beyond.
