The Grand Prix Season Singapore 2023 is set to make a dazzling return in September with a range of precinct parties and race-themed lifestyle experiences being held throughout the city.

The events will take place between September 8 and 17.

“The curated line-up of offerings across multiple facets such as dining, entertainment and retail showcase the best of Singapore’s lifestyle experiences, which both locals and visitors can enjoy,” said Ong Ling Lee, the executive director of Sports & Wellness at Singapore Tourism Board.

Geared towards a diverse audience of all ages and interests, Grand Prix Season Singapore is positioned as a complementary addition to the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2023.

The grand prix also will be running between September 8 and 17.

Grand Prix Season Singapore 2023: Circuit of Festivity

This year’s theme, Circuit of Festivity, encourages any grand prix goers in Singapore to do a full circuit of each main location and the plethora of experiences they have to offer.

The events will take place in four locations, including Orchard Road, an area filled with shops and restaurants; Clarke Quay, a historical riverside quay; the vibrant neighbourhood of Kampong Gelam; and island resort Sentosa.

Orchard Road

At Orchard Road, the headlining event will be the Revolutions: The GPSS Immersive Experience, a light and sound show portraying the story of GPSS. Running alongside this, the Orchard Pit Shops: GPSS Lifestyle Bazaar captivate shoppers with an extensive selection of more than 24 stalls. These stalls will showcase a variety of local artisanal goods, culinary delights, musical elements, and artistic installations.

Clarke Quay

At Clarke Quay, there will be day-to-night entertainment, including an e-motorsport league and retail pop-up stalls. At OutDrive GP, racing fans will have the opportunity to meet Formula 1 and Formula 2 racing drivers, including Nico Hulkenberg, and watch them race against top local e-sport racing drivers.

Kampong Gelam

At Kampong Gelam, Culturally Singapore will host multi-cultural performances while there will be a food park with a mix of local and international cuisine at the GPSS Food Park. In addition to this, there will also be art and music in the area during the 10-day period.

Sentosa

Families and beach-lovers will be catered for by Sentosa. There will be a “dining and shopping extravaganza” at the Siloso Beachwalk Bazaar as well as a rare and vintage car exhibition, dubbed Timeless Rides: An Era of Vintage & Classic Cars.

Other performances during Grand Prix Season Singapore 2023

During the same 10-day period, there will be performances by pop musicians Post Malone, Robbie Williams and Jackson Wang as well as rock band Kings of Leon and electronic music duo Groove Armada.

Last year, the racing event saw a record turnout of 302,000 race fans.
