Her Excellency Mercedes Alonso Frayle, the Spanish Ambassador to Singapore, hosted a national day celebration last week, drawing an impressive array of guests.

The event, which was held on October 9, commemorated the historic arrival of Christopher Columbus in the Americas, marking a key moment in history known as Hispanidad Day, celebrated on October 12 every year.
The celebration highlighted the enduring ties between Spain and the Americas, while also fostering connections with Singapore’s vibrant international community.
