Diplomatic Network (Asia) hosted its latest networking lunch last Thursday, bringing together esteemed DNA members and diplomatic representatives.
Presided over by Soo Chye Lee, the event welcomed the Ambassadors of Peru and Thailand alongside distinguished DNA members Aaron Wan, Jeremy Choong, and Melvin Lim of Pan Pacific Hotel. The guests enjoyed a sumptuous meal at fine dining restaurant Lawry’s The Prime Rib Singapore.

Discussions centered on initiatives to enhance collaboration between the diplomatic corps and DNA, with a proposed charity bazaar emerging as a potential highlight to mark Singapore’s upcoming 60th anniversary as a nation.
In its short existence, DNA has organized a host of impactful events, such as the ASEAN and BRICS roundtable on food security held last August. This high-level discussion brought together ambassadors from ASEAN and BRICS nations to address global governance and sustainable trade in the interest of food security.
Additionally, last September, DNA partnered with Intercontinental Singapore to host an evening celebrating Panamanian culture, featuring traditional dishes and music, and bringing cultural diplomacy to the fore.
The choice of Lawry’s The Prime Rib as the venue added a touch of culinary excellence to the evening. Nestled in the heart of Orchard Road, the restaurant’s opulent setting created an inviting atmosphere for guests. Lawry’s is celebrated for its signature prime rib of beef.
