Diplomatic Network (Asia) celebrated its second anniversary with the launch of its 2025 edition last weekend.
Like the previous year, the event took place at Southside on Siloso Road, Sentosa. However, this year’s gathering embraced a new weekend format, emphasizing the importance of family. Parents and children enjoyed a lively array of entertainment, including a balloon artist, face painting, and insights from a feng shui master.
Year of the Snake

The cover of this year’s magazine features a wooden snake, aligning with the Chinese zodiac. The print edition includes interviews with 10 foreign heads of mission stationed in Singapore, representing regions such as Africa, the Asia-Pacific, the Caribbean, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. Readers can also explore insightful articles on arts, politics, tourism, and trade.
The launch welcomed over 100 guests, with strong representation from the diplomatic community. Among the distinguished attendees were Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Singapore and Mexican Ambassador Agustin Garcia-Lopez Loaeza as well as His Excellency Jean de Dieu Uwihanganye, the high commissioner of Rwanda in Singapore and dean of the African continent. Also present were ambassadors and diplomats from Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Egypt, Jordan, Russia, South Africa, Timor-Leste, China, El Salvador, Hungary, and Venezuela.
