The Winners of the Skytrax World Airline Awards for 2025 have just been announced.
Often described as the most prestigious set of awards in the commercial airline industry, the annual rankings that Skytrax publishes as part of this award capture the attention of a significant proportion of business partners and travellers.
This year, the biggest prize of the Airline of the Year has been awarded to Qatar Airways for a record-breaking ninth time, and an impressive sixth win for Qatar Airways since 2017.
Reacting to their win, Qatar Airways posted on their social media accounts: “World’s Best Airline – for a record 9 times, always soaring higher for you ✈️”.
Additionally, Qatar Airways has also won the incredibly prestigious titles of World’s Best Business Class and Best Airline in the Middle East at the 2025 World Airline Awards.
Qatar Airways’ major wins have come after the announcement of a record-breaking order for Boeing widebody jets just one month ago. With yet another successful showing at the World Airline Awards, it seems that Qatar Airways is showing no sign of slowing down.
Second in this year’s overall airline rankings is Singapore Airlines, maintaining its position from the previous year. Singapore Airlines has also won World’s Best Airline Cabin Staff and World’s Best First Class at this year’s award.
