Diplomatic Network (Asia)’s September networking event continued the tradition of excellence established since its debut in April 2023.

As in previous gatherings, the event brought together foreign diplomats and DNA members, this time at Chikuyotei, a renowned Japanese restaurant in InterContinental Singapore.

Guests of honor

The distinguished guests of honor included Ambassador Tamara Villanueva of Chile, Ambassador George Dogoritis of Greece, and Ambassador Ahmad Alshuraim of Kuwait.

Among the DNA members in attendance were realtor Aaron Wan; Soo Chye Lee of Oaks Legal; Andrea Ee from Performance Motors; and Khalid Elelimini, co-owner of Pistachio Mediterranean & Middle Eastern Grill. Chikuyotei’s owner, Nakakita Yoshihiko, also joined the group, representing both his restaurant and DNA.

The exquisite Japanese menu, paired with select red and white wines from South African Wine Cellar, provided the perfect backdrop for lively discussions. Topics ranged from international cuisine and religious traditions to the much-anticipated Formula One races taking place in Singapore this weekend. Every guest contributed meaningfully to the conversation.

Camaraderie is the hallmark of all DNA events, and this September lunch was no exception. Diplomatic Network (Asia) continues to bring people and cultures together, one event at a time.
