Turkiye celebrated the 101st anniversary of the Republic of Turkiye with a Republic Day reception at the Pan Pacific Orchard Singapore on Tuesday.
The reception brought together members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of Singapore’s Turkish community, and Singaporeans.
Turkish Ambassador to Singapore Burcin Gonenli hosted the event. Meanwhile, Singapore Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of Defence Heng Chee How attended as guest of honour, representing the Government of Singapore. Also in attendance were Members of Parliament Ng Ling Ling and Li San Poh.
The celebratory event underscored the enduring partnership between Turkiye and Singapore.
